What happens????

Every Tuesday Abigail goes to MDO at our church. We get up in the morning, get dressed, have our breakfast, I do her hair and we are good to go!

SERIOUSLY....she looks like she's a distant relative of cousin it or something! HAHAHA. It doesn't matter how tight I put that rubber band in, it all comes out. And most of the time I can tell that it has been 'redone' by one of her teachers! LOL OIY. To me, it says she is having a great time playing with her friends!! And as I picked her up yesterday, the teach met me at the door and says too me....in so many words....the next time I put a dress on Abigail to please put some shorts on under the dress b/c she has been going around all day pulling up her dress! WHAT?!?!? OH.MY.GOODNESS. FOR REAL!?!? She doesn't do that at home....so I never thought to put leggings on her or anything. ooppps! So, next time I'll put something on under her dress so we don't show everyone our big girl panties!!! What am I gonna do with her?!!?? ;)

Airplane! (Sat, November 6, 2010)

This weekend Brian decided to take down the trampoline that was in our back yard, with the boys help! It's amazing how much bigger our back yard actually is without that eye sore there anymore! So, Josh spent some time out there hanging out with Abigail. I looked out the screen door to see Josh running around with Abigail on his back, her laughing loudly and smiling from ear to ear! :) I even caught this little....MOMMY THERE IS DIRT ON MY FINGER girl ROLLING around in the grass and mud! She had stains on her knees I actually had to SCRUB out! HEAVEN! She adores her big brother and I just love it on the days that he doesn't feel like he's too old to play with her! Makes my heart happy!

We FINALLY made it to the arboretum!!

We decided to try it again....this time on a Friday. I ended up going with the girls and getting there around 10ish and they were already so full that they were parking cars in the lawn that is off the actual paved parking lot. I went early with the intent of getting the girls pics with their costumes on around the pumpkins....however, once I saw how crowded it was, in addition there were about 10 school buses parked there as well, I decided to NIX that idea and just go ahead and head on in to wait for Kelly and her littles to get there. I let Abigail decide if she wanted to walk or ride in the stroller and she chose to walk. She's such a well behaved little sometimes that she surprises me! :) We four wheeled it through the grass on once we hit the pavement she was told to either a)hold my hand or b) hold onto the stroller. She opted for choice b. I think she secretly thought SHE was leading the stroller!!! SO CUTE. We stopped for a second and she was instantly intrigued by her shadow! lol She stopped and looked....

then she stuck her butt out! HA! She's so funny!

Then we started in...

Once inside it wasn't that bad at all! The arboretum is so big that it would have to be really crowded to actually be really crowded. There were kids running ALL over the place....but it was fun! Kids are so FULL of energy....it never ceases to amaze me!
We stopped to grab a couple shots as we entered.

I thought of my Mom when I took this one....wish she would have come with us....

I tried to get her to sit on the pumpkin...bu she thought it was more fun to slide off it just before I took the picture! :) Still cute....

The mums were at their peek in bloom and they were so beautiful. Abigail loved checking them out and running through the different 'patches'. She is so full of life....and I LOVE IT!!!

Then off to meet PJ and Katelyn!!! Are they just not two of the cutest littles you have ever seen!! We just love them!

Samantha really enjoyed her time in the stroller outside. She was just taking it all in. She's got a great set of blue eyes, hu?

PJ and Abagail...these two are awesome. A little bit of playing around....

and we were off....to have a quick lunch and see some pumpkins! :) We followed their lead...well, sort of... ;)

Stopped for a bite to eat...almost an impossible feat when there are a trillion pumpkins and a hay maze within yards of where we were sitting....but we got enough in them before it was time to play!

It was such a fun day. The only down side was my Nikon D80 decided to be cranky and stop working. After doing a Google search on my phone I discovered it was the card not the camera itself....thank goodness. It's a lot cheaper to replace a card than the camers. However, it was sure aggravating and I missed some incredible shots...happy to get what I was able to tho, for sure! Thankful for great friends to share it with!!!

PuMpKiN Patchin It!

Last year we went to The Big Orange Pumpkin Farm and had so much fun we decided to go back again this year. And we were not disappointed! Mime and Mine Mine went with us this year too.
So, with Brian at the wheel....

We were off!
It's about a 45 minute drive from where we live to Celina. To help Abigail pass the time in her car seat she and Mimi were looking for RED BIG TRUCKS, or Red 18-wheelers! She has a thing for big trucks lately. lol

First thing is first...we got there and started feeding some animals! We fed sheep and goats....




We saw little chicks, hens, roosters. A GINORMOUS Long horn that we didn't get close to. And it wreaked of manure. Eeeeew!!! But it was FUN! We were content on feeding the animals...and then....


SOMETHING caught her little blue eyes and nothing else mattered. What was it you ask???? It was this and you know we had to!







and the best part is that she didn't even throw a fit when it was all done! I was so proud!!!! I think we all were! :)
And then we headed out to the patch! You and Josh had a good time running around and picking up and putting down several pumpkins before you found the perfect one! You guys did good!

Then we headed to the hay ride! Such fun! Abigail absolutely loved this last year, and I'm pretty sure she loved it even more this year! :) This girl is adventurous!





At the end of the hay ride a butterfly landed on Mine Mine's leg and Abigail thought that was pretty cool. Josh says that it's good luck when a butterfly lands on you!

Somewhere in all that fun we sat for a few and enjoyed the all american hot dog, bag of chips and a coke! We will probably make this an annual thing. It's such a fun place to go and enjoy your family. If you are in the area, I encourage you to go next year to! :)
